This year’s SXSW brings another great year for world music. On Friday, March 18, you can take part in the first ever globalFEST + Rock, Paper, Scissors (RPS) Showcase at The Palm Door on Sixth, 508 E 6th St. starting at 8:00 pm. The showcase will feature Bombino, Dubioza, Imran Aziz Mian Qaqqali, Lulacruza, Noura Mint Seymali, and XIXA.

Cocofunka is born in 2008 as a new concept within Costa Rican music creating a fusion of musical genres, mixing indie, funk, rock, reggae, and alternative Latin sounds.
